DESCRIPTION:A 5 K walk will be sponsored by the Petit Jean Extension Homemakers Club to benefit Room 29:11 that supports foster parents and children. The walk will be held May 4th on Petit Jean Mountain on the state park walking trail beginning at the swimming pool and walking to the Hwy 154 W crossing and back to the swimming pool. Registration begins at 9:00am at the swimming pool area with the walk beginning at 10:00am. Registration is $20.00. There will be a drawing at 12:00 noon for gifts such as a gift basket of meats from Petit Jean Meats\, a one night stay at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute\, gift certificates\, and other gifts.
