SUMMARY:Moonlight Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will host two Arkansas blues bands as part of its first "Moonlight Concert Series" performance\, set for Tuesday\, October 25th\, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the college's Fine Arts Auditorium. Opening the show will be Zakk and Big Papa Binns\, a father/son duo from Hot Springs. The band is known for their dueling slide guitars and one-man-band style drums\, producing a raw\, hypnotic\, delta blues sound. The college's Kristi Strain says the concert will also feature a popular band from Morrilton\, AK3\, or the Akeem Kemp Band as they're also known.  As well as for their original tracks\, AK3 is known state-wide for skillfully interpreting songs from various old-school and contemporary artists\, such as Sam Cooke\, Bobby Womack\, Albert King and Al Green.
