Description
The GFWC Century League of Morrilton will host its fourth annual Century League 5K Color Fun Run on September 24, 2016 starting at 9:00 a.m. in downtown Morrilton. The start/finish line and check-in table will be set up outside the Morrilton Depot Museum.
The Century League 5K Color Fun Run is open to all ages. The entry fee is $25 if you pre-register by September 2 or $30 from September 3 through the day of the race. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. All participants registering after September 2, or on race day, will receive a t-shirt based on availability. Race-day registration and check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends promptly at 8:45 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded to overall male and female winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, and additional prizes may be awarded based on participation.
As in previous years, the Century League will be collecting canned goods for the Conway County Care Center's Harvest of Hope Food Drive on the day of the race.
All proceeds from the race benefit the GFWC Century League of Morrilton's local projects including its scholarship program. Call 501-208-7514 for more information.
